This was an amazing story!! A young woman is attacked by a serial killer. She becomes attracted to the agent who is in charge of her case. While having to keep her under guard 24 hrs a day they begin to build a relationship that he fights every step. Her family comes from an interesting background and I can't wait to find out more about them!! This is very different from Byrnes' other books, but just as amazing. I'm completely invested in these characters and will be keeping an eye out for more.
